The Story

When a cyclone tore Dorothy Gale from her Kansas farm, it swept her house, dog Toto and all, into the strange land of Oz. Guided by a pair of ruby slippers, Dorothy sets off down the yellow brick road to seek the great Wizard and a way home.

With the Friends of Dorothy as your guides, the clockwork cogs shift anti-clockwise as times collide, skies darken and a dizzying arial cyclone transports us all to an Oz designed to shift perceptions.

This production played at St Kilda’s National Theatre in July 2023, featuring the iconic musical score from the classic MGM film starring Judy Garland.
