Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women follows the journey of Jo March becoming a published author. In October, Theatrical is excited to bring “Little Women the Broadway Musical” to the stage.

To celebrate, we have teamed up with Writers Victoria to offer you the chance to have your story published.

To enter, write a short story of up to 150 words using an aspect of  “Little Women” as your inspiration

The winner will receive two VIP passes to the Opening of Theatrical’s “Little Women the Broadway Musical”, which includes meeting the cast, as well as having their story published in both the “Little Women” program, as well as in Writers Victoria’s “The Victorian Writer” (summer edition).

Short Story Guidelines

1. Write up to 150 words inspired by any aspect of the story Little Women

2. Submit your entry using the form below on or before 5pm (AEST) on 30 August 2021

3. Your entry must be your own original work and must be thematically related to Little Women (in any of its forms).

4. Winner will be announced on 8 October on Theatrical’s Facebook and Instagram

5. The winner will receive 2 VIP passes to Opening Night of Little Women The Broadway Musical on 22 October 2021 at Chapel Off Chapel, have their winning story published in the Little Women program and in Writers Victoria’s “The Victorian Writer” (summer edition)

6. The judges discussions are final and no correspondence will be entered into
